With a total score of 364 points, Galadima Israel Zakari is believed to have the highest score so far in the 2018 UTME.
The 16-year-old boy from Borno state reportedly scored 82 points in the Use of English, 94 in Mathematics, 93 in Physics and 95 in Chemistry. 16-year-old Galadima Israel Zakari has emerged as the best candidate so far in the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), following the release of results, Vanguard reports. It was initially believed that a Taidob College, Asero Estate, Abeokuta, Ogun state, Ajibola Oluwatosin Olumayowa, had the highest score, as he earned 349 marks.
immaupdates gathers that Mr Dayo, an administrator at Faith Academy, Canaanland Ota, Ogun state, however disclosed to newsmen on Tuesday, March 27, that their student had emerged with the highest score of 364. A statement signed by one Mr Michael Abatan, also known by many Jamb applicants as ObaMICHEAL Coordinator of Covenant University CBT Centre, Ota, Ogun state read: Galadima Israel Zakari from BIU in Borno state recorded 82 in the Use of English, 94 in Mathematics, 93 in Physics and 95 in Chemistry.” ObaMICHEAL also said more than 35 students from Faith Academy, had over 300+ score in the just concluded 2018 Jamb exam.
Galadima’s score is believed to be the highest in the just concluded 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Galadima wrote his exam at the Ifo College of Management and Tech,Ifo, Ogun State.
The development comes following an earlier report by Vanguard, that Oghotomo Ogheneruno Goddowell, a 16-year-old boy from Ethiope East in Delta state, may have set a new record for the Joint Admission Matriculation Board exam, as he scored 321 points.
Goddowell wrote his exam at the Benchill schools, Warri Delta state. Another unverified result that surfaced online with the same 321 marks, belonged to 18-year-old Yusuf Najeeb Lawal from Musawa in Katsina state. Lawal wrote his exam at Kaduna polythecnic, Tudun Wada, Kaduna state.
